Design Challenge
Have you ever sat down in a restaurant, looked at the menu, and thought to yourself that the menu is so badly designed that you are tempted to redesign it and give it to them for free? That is exactly what you will be doing with this project, except with a website or app.

In this design scenario, you are working as a freelance designer trying to build up your client base. Business is slow right now and you decide that you will redesign an app or website of your choice as a way to practice your skills, have some fun, and create something to show potential clients. Any and all resources you want to use are at your disposal, including tapping into AI generated content. Get creative in your design choices and user experience.

Solution
Toronto Cupcake just received a fresh face! The site actually appears on many lists of bad website design. I was immediately drawn in by the pink color palette already utilized by the company, but the website truly needed a complete redesign. From the beginning, I wanted to emulate the piped frosting aspect of actual cakes and cupcakes, which inspired the top and bottom borders of the website. I expanded the site by creating my own content, pulling analogous inspiration from other brands like Sprinkles Cupcakes. I utilized Adobe Firefly to create AI generated imagery for the majority of this redesign. From the new cupcake logo to all the cupcake flavors, almost every image used was created through AI generation, which added an interesting element and more creative freedom when redesigning this website.
